I would like to make a complaint about an unconstructive edit on "Earned It". A user has recently posted a comment saying, "Don't add Beauty Behind the Madness, it is not a single from that album", and it says "and was included on the Weeknd's second studio album Beauty Behind the Madness (2015)", so I would like to deem this user's edit as unconstructive.
Thank you.
- It's not immediately obvious where this was said, so you'll need to provide a diff but in any case, it's a content dispute and you need to discuss it. PRAXIDICAE💕 21:36, 31 May 2022 (UTC)
- This edit is in the edit section of the article, and the article states that the single is included in the album "Beauty Behind the Madness". The article for the album even includes lists this as a single. ReadBetweenTheLines345 (talk) 22:28, 31 May 2022 (UTC)

- It is not appropriate to move your User page to a Talk page in the main space of the project. You will not have a page about you in Wikipedia unless it is a page in your own User space.
- I see a User talk page here full of warnings. If you continue with non-constructive editing, I expect you will be facing a loss of editing privileges. Speedy deletion nomination of Elias Harger (actor)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Elias Harger (actor) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.thefamouspeople.com/profiles/elias-harger-29783.php. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that ReadBetweenTheLines345, a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be a test page. (See section G2 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
Speedy deletion nomination of Semi-cide
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Semi-cide requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
The article Semi-cide has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No indication of notability whatsoever
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. BangJan1999 19:45, 1 March 2024 (UTC)

- For what it's worth, the material that User:ReadBetweenTheLines345 copied and pasted into new articles wasn't a copyright violation. It was copied from the 1000 Ways To Die Wiki, which is published under a CC-BY-SA license. Creating copies of those pages here wasn't a good idea, but the block for copyright infringement probably wasn't appropriate. - Eureka Lott 15:30, 4 March 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:
This is a mistake. I didn't create crappy pages, just edited them to make them more accurate, that was my intention. I wasn't intending to violate anything. I'm one of those people who would make anything accurate, and update it. If unblocked, I can continue updating articles with their accurate information.
Decline reason:
Your comment below that "had I not evaded the block, the pages would've been inaccurate" does not inspire great faith. Basically, you're saying that block evasion is justified if you feel pages were inaccurate, which is not how things work. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 21:22, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

- Putting aside the quality of the pages you created, you did create lots of pages. You've also been evading your block for quite some time - see Special:contributions/12.222.30.2 and the page intersection. AFAICT, you've also edited logged out with other IPs, but 12.222. is the only one I noticed that was blocked.--Bbb23 (talk) 17:03, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
- So many twists and turns -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 17:47, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
- Bbb23 The only reason I created multiple articles for different segments of 1000 Ways To Die was because I didn't know how to format episodes in a single article. Before you blocked me, I was creating an episode list on the aforementioned article, in this format:
- {{Episode list
- | EpisodeNumber =
- | EpisodeNumber2 =
- | Title =
- | OriginalAirDate =
- | ShortSummary =
- | LineColor =
- }}
- This is a common format used in articles for TV shows, so this one shouldn't be any different. The images I uploaded were supposed to match the articles for musical artists, actors, and others, but they were deemed copyright, although it wasn't a violation. The images were freely licensed by CC-BY-SSA, which means I was free to use those images. And last but not least, the information here is inaccurate, and I either update the articles, or edit them to make them accurate enough. Most people would just abandon that fact, and not find out about the accuracy.
- Example: I saw something that said "will be released in 2020", although the year has passed, so I updated it to say "was released in 2020", to make it accurate.
- All of this evidence should tell you that I shouldn't be blocked because of the articles I make accurate, and that I update. This should also tell you that some of the articles on this site tend to be inaccurate and is commonly abandoned. Think about it. ReadBetweenTheLines345 (talk) 20:40, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
