Clarifications on deletion process
[edit]I see you're relatively new, so I'd like to clarify a few things on the deletion process. First off, if a speedy deletion request has already been declined or disputed by anyone but the article author, it's not appropriate to request speedy deletion again for the same reason, as you did here: [1] If you discover a different problem, such as copyright violations, it would be appropriate to make a new speedy request based upon that. It is also permitted to reinstate speedy requests that the article author removes. With proposed deletion, on the other hand, anyone, including the article author, may dispute the prod by removing it, and is not required to provide a reason. If that occurs, the prod may not be reinstated at all. At that point, the appropriate step would be AfD. Please let me know if you have any questions. Regarding deletion flag you raised on NISAU page
[edit]The UK-wide presence of the organisation is described explicitly to remove contention of its notability. NISAU has its presence in 25 major universities of the UK including LSE, King's, Westminster, Warwick, SOAS, Manchester, Belfast, Edinburgh and prominent figures including members of parliament of both UK and India, Ministers, CBEs, Global icons in arts and spirituality are associated with it. What bias is seen in the content? Being an apolitical and non-religious organisation, no ideology is biasedly presented nor it only talked about the UK or India. When the issues that Indian students face was listed in the article, it was accompanied by the condemnation of visa-abuses. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MohanishB (talk • contribs) 07:27, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
I wanted to let you know that I removed and redacted information that you put in your nomination statement on the AFD page here. It contained personal information about another editor that he/she did not disclose publicly on Wikipedia, and was immediately removed as soon as I realized what was going on. The editor was repeatedly removing content from that AFD not to be disruptive, but to remove the private information that you put in your nomination statement about them. What made things worse is the fact that the removal was repeatedly reverted (not just by you, but other editors as well).
Please be extremely careful in the future when disclosing information about other editors like that, as it constitutes outing -- something that is an extremely serious violation of Wikipedia policy that can result in immediate administrative action on your account, even for a first offense. Any information about another editor... any at all... no matter how easy it is to locate and find outside of Wikipedia using search engines and other means -- is considered private (and hence considered as outing if disclosed by another editor) if they did not disclose the information publicly on Wikipedia. I will assume that you probably didn't understand the extent and severity of the offense, so I'm going to simply warn you about it here and be done with it. Please take time to review Wikipedia's policy on outing, as it's extremely important to understand and make sure you do not violate again. Please let me know if you have any questions. I'll be happy to answer them. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 10:04, 17 March 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/National Indian Students Union UK, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia.
