DYK nomination of List of covers of Time magazine (2010s)
Hello! Your submission of List of covers of Time magazine (2010s) at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! BlueMoonset (talk) 22:09, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
Tampering with the AfD template was just disruptive, I've reverted you but accidentally tagged it as vandalism in doing so. Though I'm not entirely convinced that isn't the case I apologise for tagging it so if it's not. Stuart.Jamieson (talk) 18:05, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
- I tampered with the AfD template? Likely trying to revert something else. Rcsprinter (Gimme a message) @ 20:20, 23 March 2013 (UTC)

WikiCup 2013 March newsletter
We are halfway through round two. Pool A sees the strongest competition, with five out of eight of its competitors scoring over 100, and Pool H is lagging, with half of its competitors yet to score. WikiCup veterans lead overall; Pool A's Sturmvogel_66 (submissions) (2010's winner) leads overall, with poolmate Miyagawa (submissions) (a finalist in 2011 and 2012) not far behind. Pool F's Casliber (submissions) (a finalist in 2010, 2011 and 2012) is in third. The top two scorers in each pool, as well as the next highest 16 scorers overall, will progress to round three at the end of April.
Today has seen a number of Easter-themed did you knows from WikiCup participants, and March has seen collaboration from contestants with WikiWomen's History Month. It's great to see the WikiCup being used as a locus of collaboration; if you know of any collaborative efforts going on, or want to start anything up, please feel free to use the WikiCup talk page to help find interested editors. As well as fostering collaboration, we're also seeing the Cup encouraging the improvement of high-importance articles through the bonus point system. Highlights from the last month include GAs on physicist Niels Bohr ( Hawkeye7 (submissions)), on the European hare ( Cwmhiraeth (submissions)), on the constellation Circinus ( Keilana (submissions) and Casliber (submissions)) and on the Third Epistle of John ( Cerebellum (submissions)). All of these subjects were covered on at least 50 Wikipedias at the beginning of the year and, subsequently, each contribution was awarded at least three times as many points as normal.
Wikipedians who enjoy friendly competition may be interested in participating in April's wikification drive. While wikifying an article is typically not considered "significant work" such that it can be claimed for WikiCup points, such gnomish work is often invaluable in keeping articles in shape, and is typically very helpful for new writers who may not be familiar with formatting norms.
A quick reminder: now, submission pages will need only a link to the article and a link to the nomination page, or, in the case of good article reviews, a link to the review only. See your submissions' page for details. This will hopefully make updating submission pages a little less tedious. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! If you wish to start or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove yourself from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. Hey uhh... can't tell if your triple-MFD was supposed to be a meta-joke. I really hope they are, because otherwise I should've been notified of the Example RFA one (I didn't create it, but I'm the one who created the joke). Also because otherwise you're needlessly disrupting three completely harmless jokes. — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 11:26, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
On April Fools...
Bravo, Rcsprinter123. I congratulate anyone who is out to nuke April Fools and its extraneous bullshit from Wikipedia, and your two MfDs on Frigidninja's "RFF" and Example's RFA are one step towards keeping WP serious, clean and professional. We get the piss taken out of us by the media enough as it is, we don't need to make ourselves look like a joke too! And, I'm serious. Good Call. Humblesnore (talk) 11:34, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
The Barnstar of Diligence | ||
For helping in the fight to make April 1st history on Wikipedia, I award this barnstar. If only there were a hell of a lot more like you. Humblesnore (talk) 11:34, 1 April 2013 (UTC) |
- Thanks. I guess it is a little unusual for such a newcomer to be so involved with all this sort of thing, but if its what you found first, so what. Keep up the good work. Rcsprinter (warn) @ 11:49, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
- What got me involved was being on IRC during the night and have someone mention a six layer MfD of a page which couldn't be deleted anyhow. That's how I realized people were buggering around with Wikipedia because of some stupid tradition which is intended to make people look like idiots. It doesn't fly with me. Good call, keep it up! Humblesnore (talk) 11:53, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

My test?
Weren't you supposed to be informing me when you had put the test up? :P I did not have your talk as watchlisted.
Once again, my examinations do not allow me to give the test now. I will, *sigh* once again delay it until i am free.
TheOriginalSoni (talk) 22:41, 3 April 2013 (UTC)
- I replied here on my talk page as soon as I put it up, do watch the threads please. Let me know when... Rcsprinter (warn) @ 22:48, 3 April 2013 (UTC)

Faresaver
I have no idea how this talk works, but i am trying to edit Faresaver Buses page to make it better and you keep changing it back. This is why everyone says that Wikipedia cannot be trusted ! Grahamjenkins4444 (talk) 16:30, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
- I am reverting it because the source we are working from says that Faresaver have a Plaxton Centro. Therefore, it should be included with the fleet list and not taken out. This is trying to make it more trustworthy. Rcsprinter (tell me stuff) @ 16:41, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry i can't see how to respond to the existing thread there is no 'reply' button ? The changes i have made to the Faresaver page are accurate because i work for Faresaver and know them to be true, i haven't gleaned it from another website or news article. Grahamjenkins4444 (talk) 17:10, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
- In that case, you have a Conflict of Interest and should not be editing pages relating to Faresaver. But I don't know you work there, and so telling me that "they are true" is not evidence enough; the source needs to be changed. Please don't remove it again until it has. Rcsprinter (chinwag) @ 19:07, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

'COI editing involves contributing to Wikipedia in order to promote your own interests or those of other individuals, companies, or groups' I am not trying to promote my own interests or those of a company, i am simply trying to get the facts correct. As long as your article contains inaccuracies i will continue to edit them, surely this is the whole point of having an open editing policy. I have told you that your source is out of date but you are stubbornly refusing to accept this and keep entering information that is incorrect. Why will you not believe me that Faresaver no longer own a Plaxton Centro ? This is a waste of your time and mine ! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Grahamjenkins4444 (talk • contribs) 21:48, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
- As much as I want to believe you, the source needs updating first, then we can update the article. It's the rules. Rcsprinter (talkin' to me?) @ 22:02, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
DON'T SHOUT, its' rude ! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.158.247.106 (talk) 23:42, 23 April 2013 (UTC) So you will continue to put inaccurate information into an article even though it would be better to leave it out if there is any doubt ? The point is that bus fleets change all the time so you will always be out of date and you cannot expect the bus company to keep updating their website just to satisfy the needs of Wikipedia ! I can assure you 100% the source is now out of date. Grahamjenkins4444 (talk) 22:16, 22 April 2013 (UTC) YN56 SGV Plaxton Centro sold to Dealtop Ltd t/a Dartline, April 2013. Believe me now ? I really don't understand why you are being so stubborn about letting me help you with this ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Grahamjenkins4444 (talk • contribs) 22:22, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
