User talk:Raymond C. Watson, Jr./Teledyne Brown Engineering
Opening heading
[edit]Prior to 29 March 2011, there was a Wikipedia article "Teledyne Brown Engineering". On that date, Radio Fan merged this article into "Teledyne" and incorporated a redirect. I requested that this be reversed, but on 8 June 2011, Radio Fan formed "User: Raymond C. Watson, Jr./Teledyne Brown Engineering", and the redirect for "Teledyne Brown Engineering" to "Teledyne" remained. It is requested that all of this be reversed, with "Teledyne Brown Engineering" returned to a stand-alone article, allowing direct access as well as udating and expasion. Teledyne Brown Engineering, although now a subsidiary of Teledyne, is a notable firm, as will be shown after the article is expanded. Raymond C. Watson, Jr. (talk) 15:01, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
Requested move
[edit]User:Raymond C. Watson, Jr./Teledyne Brown Engineering → Teledyne Brown Engineering – Fixed nomination. Vegaswikian (talk) 21:38, 9 October 2011 (UTC) Prior to 29 March 2011, there was an article "Teledyne Brown Engineering". On that date, Radio Fan merged this article to the parent article "Teledyne". I requested that this be reversed, but on 8 June 2011 Radio Fan moved it to "User: Raymond C. Watson, Jr./Teledyne Brown Engineering". It is requested that this be moved back to the original "Teledyne Erown Engineering" so it can be correctly accessed and updated. Raymond C. Watson, Jr. (talk) 22:35, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
- Comment you've placed this at the wrong place. You should place this at user talk:Raymond C. Watson, Jr./Teledyne Brown Engineering, otherwise, people can't see what you're talking about, since user:Raymond C. Watson, Jr./Teledyne Brown Engineering is not linked. 65.94.77.207 (talk) 04:53, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
- Oppose I'm with RadioFan. This unsourced corporate spam for a non-notable organisation doesn't belong on Wikipedia. At best, it's a redirect to the parent organisation per WP:ORG. --Ohconfucius ¡digame! 01:24, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
