Image:OldGrey-WhiteCat.jpg listed for deletion
[edit]An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:OldGrey-WhiteCat.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Unspecified source for Image:Knobcreeknightshoot.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Knobcreeknightshoot.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:51, 9 March 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. howcheng {chat} 21:51, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
Possibly unfree Image:Knobcreeknightshoot.jpg
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Wikipedia:WikiBIBLMenu, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Wikipedia:WikiBIBLMenu fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Wikipedia:WikiBIBLMenu, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 07:42, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

Templates
[edit]Hi Ravenstorm. You can check out the general template documentation at Help:Template. Those type of templates will also make heavy use of parserfunctios, which are documented at m:ParserFunctions. Hope this helps! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. —METS501 (talk) 03:19, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

Image:Knobcreeknightshoot.jpg,
[edit]Hi, regarding this image which is listed on WP:PUI Was the quote you mentioned on the image page the exact wording? I can't check it out myself since my (static) IP is blocked from that site. (and I never been to that site before). The way it's stated does not mean the images are released under the GFDL. It also does not specify that the images can be modified. Could you perhaps clarify this? Thanks, Garion96 (talk) 20:38, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- I saw you again uploaded those images, without answering my question. Did the photographer released those images into the public domain? (which is different then releasing it for the public) Or did he spefically stated he released those under the GFDL license? Otherwise the image will be deleted again. Garion96 (talk) 23:26, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
Re:Ghillie suit
[edit]I was being bold! But then I closed another tab on an article and didn't realize that the ghillie suit one was in the same broweser window and it got all deleted. I had spent 20 minutes and didn't want to do it again. I decided to ask if it should have it's own article first before I spent all that time again. Thanks! Deflagro 01:38, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
Hello
[edit]Interesting that I stumbled upon you. I don't use Wikipedia much. Anyway, I saw the image you made, logicalfallacy.gif. I am impressed that you are only 16. (Almost 16, anyway.) Interestingly, I am an evangelical Christian who plays paintball and Counter-Strike. I also do a lot of programming. Same with my younger brother, who is actually your age. He also calls himself a pyromaniac. Are you into apologetics at all? Email me if you like: razzendahcuben [at] gmail [dot] com Razzendahcuben 01:04, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
Spyder Rodeo
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Spyder Rodeo, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Spyder Rodeo. -- Swerdnaneb 17:09, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Spyder Rodeo
[edit]A tag has been placed on Spyder Rodeo, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. dougweller (talk) 19:04, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

Image source problem with File:Bibleshineworld.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Bibleshineworld.jpg.
This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.
While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.
If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F4 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:21, 30 October 2022 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page.
