I am having several other people review the page and write an unbiased clean up, notable management and others that have heard of me, I ask that you please leave this open and help me stay on here and allow me to learn what you guys want to see when a new artist is submitted to Wikipedia so we can acknowledge and give honor to the artists we interview - those whose Wikipedia's haven't been created yet.

Thank you very much, Eric

Please help me edit the page instead of speedy deletion, this is my first page upload so bear with me, I will be making profiles for a hundred artists after this it's a lot of work but I need the help of the community, as you were the first to reach out to me please help me do this one right.

Welcome! =

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Eric the Prince requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. sandgemADDICT yeah? 00:50, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please help me edit the page properly as I have a bunch of artists who I am doing this for, show me how to do it properly because the last thing we want is someone doing what you did as you were the first to reach out please help me know what it is that you want to see with this article and how we can do them properly I am following the examples on other major artists Wiki's.

Nomination of Eric the Prince for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Eric the Prince is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eric the Prince until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. sandgemADDICT yeah? 02:23, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi RapAuthority. I have had to nominate the aforementioned article for deletion on the basis that Eric the Prince does not meet Wikipedia's inclusion standard for musicians. Any article on Wikipedia is required to meet a certain standard of notability before they may have a Wikipedia article - sadly, Eric the Prince does not meet this requirement. However, rather than reinstating the speedy deletion tag for the article to be deleted under our criteria for speedy deletion, I have chosen to send the article to a full Articles for Deletion discussion for an outisde opinion as to whether the article meets the notability guideline. However, for future reference, you should not remove a speedy deletion tag from an article that you have created yourself, instead you should place your reasons why the article should not be deleted on the talk page, and these reasons will be looked at before the article is deleted. Regards -- sandgemADDICT yeah? 02:29, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mac Lucci requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://web5.datpiff.com/profile/MacLucciDPG. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

I appreciate your help Sangheem, I am very thankful that you are showing good faith and grace, it would mean the world to me if I can have third parties now add to the page as I focus on building Rap.com and interviewing artists, and being apart of Wikipedia has been a deep longing for me as I have used it over and over again, as I mentioned I watched the TED Talk, and I have been putting together information with references in my notebook software ready to upload when they are finished for other producers, artists, managers, and notable people in the music industry that I have come across in Documentaries and other ways of Internet research, I feel like those who are older who have come before me and have done a lot for the industry should be honored, as I created a page for www.Wikipedia.com/wiki/Tommy_Daugherty and have other old school producers and artists that I am going to be interviewing I want there to be a place on Wikipedia for them, a sense of pride of a life spent into one of the riskiest industries to join. Many times they aren't acknowledged as artists get most of the glory, but videographers, engineers, stylists, I would like to give them a place in the community and honor them, those who have made the artists, and I hope that I can have your support, and if you can teach me how to add content without promotion, how to make sure everything is in line with Wikipedia, I will not touch my personal page, and allow only third parties to edit it and note things that come up in the future, and I will put my whole efforts on building content for those who have made the artists we know today, and to correct any misinformation many major artists have on their Wiki's and to add valuable content and sections with the approval and help from Wikipedia's members. Please allow Rap.com and Wikipedia to team up to showcase those to make up the industry and to give a place for the producers and artists, the managers and videographers, the tattoo artists and Jewelers, let me interview them, and find out their accomplishments, once I know exactly what questions to ask them, I can easily make new Wikipedia pages, please allow for the page to be set in stone and kept, and please let me earn my stripes as a Wikipedia editor, I will abide by all of the rules and I will add valuable content, I will help others learn as I have and I will donate towards the site to keep it running, I will promote it on Rap.com and reference everything I post there with a Wikipedia article, already I have learned a lot about article writing and would love if any of you can help edit the Eric the Prince page and give me some ideas on what interview questions I can ask to those whose pages can be added to Wikipedia, thank you from the bottom of my heart for kindly showing me the way. A request for clarification

[edit]

I'm not at all sure what you mean by "I have created both a non bias rapper account and a non bias producer account and my own personal account", and I would be grateful if you could clarify it for me. By "account" do you mean Wikipedia account? If so, what are the usernames of the other two accounts? Also, since you contrast the first two accounts you mention with your "personal account", does that mean that the others are not personal accounts, but are shared with other users? If it doesn't mean that, please tell me what it does mean. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 16:45, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification - when I said I made non bias accounts mean I made non bias article entries for Mac Lucci and Tommy Daugherty because I am building references and there are many notable people in the industry that are not yet on Wikipedia, none of the other accounts made are mine but family members who made accounts when I told them about there being a vote, asked them to read the clauses and speak their mind saying if it should be kept or not, I have many references as notability and I have asked several music managers to edit the page for non bias references and so it's not an autobiography, everything that was added or edited was to prove that the article merited creation, and I made the other ones artist, producer, and another artist, to learn Wikipedia, to learn what exactly your looking for, what references are necessary so that I can guide artists and producers for what they need to show me before there is enough reason to create a Wikipedia profile for them. RapAuthority (talk) 08:54, 7 February 2016 (UTC)RapAuthority[reply]

So, you have said many times that you love WIkipedia and are inspired by it. But the #1 thing in Wikipedia is that you actually talk with other editors. I haven't seen you have a single conversation since you got here. Popping up here and there and making big statements is not having a conversation. Saying you need help and then responding when people offer it, starts to ring hollow. So I don't know what you love, but it is not the Wikipedia that actually exists.
