Information icon Hello, I'm Sitush. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Mazhabi Sikh seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sitush (talk) 19:17, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sanctions

[edit]
This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Mazhabi Sikh article

[edit]

You cannot insert original research into articles, nor tilt them to suit your opinion. Wikipedia requires that statements are verifiable with reference to reliable sources and it is not censored. You need to stop removing the reliably sourced, neutral information at the Mazhabi Sikh article and you need to stop adding information unless you have sources for it. - Sitush (talk) 15:34, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

And you are still at it today, removing the same sourced content and inserting puffery. - Sitush (talk) 12:21, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement topic ban

[edit]

The following topic ban now applies to you:

You have been topic banned from Mazhabi Sikh and related pages for three months.

You have been sanctioned for persistently removing sourced content and inserting unsourced puffery at the article Mazhabi Sikh despite several warnings.

This topic ban is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/India-Pakistan#Final decision and, if applicable, the procedure described at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions. Please go to WP:TBAN and read the information there to see what a topic ban is. If you do not comply with the topic ban, you may be blocked for an extended period, to enforce the ban.

If you wish to appeal against the ban, please say so below or on my talk page and I will explain how to do it. Bishonen | talk 16:42, 7 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for topic ban violation

[edit]

Rangreta mazhabi, if you didn't see my topic ban above, I suppose you don't watch your talkpage at all, and I'll have to block you just to get your attention. You have kept right on editing Mazhabi Sikh, that you had been banned from editing.[1] And you made the same old disruptive changes, too. If you saw my message above and didn't understand it, you should have asked. You have been blocked for a week for violating your topic ban. If you do it again when you return from the block, the next block will be longer. Bishonen | talk 17:11, 9 April 2017 (UTC).[reply]
