Speedy deletion nomination of Nazra for Feminist Studies

Nazra for Feminist Studies

Hi there. The main reason it was deleted is because it did not indicate the importance or significance of the group. Articles in Wikipedia must show how the group is notable; i.e., that it's been significantly covered in multiple reliable sources.

A further reason is that it was directly copied from http://nazra.org/en/about-us, which, although it's covered by a Creative Commons licence, is only licensed for non-commercial use. Wikipedia on the other hand is covered by CC-BY-SA, which does not include the NC (non-commercial) limitation. So if you copied it directly to Wikipedia, it could be used in a way that the organization does not permit, and that's a legal issue for Wikipedia. If you look at the page WP:DCM it explains how the text can be permitted for use here. Alternatively you could re-write the article in your own words, making sure to show how the organization is notable. Hope this helps, ... discospinster _talk 22:36, 22 March 2012 (UTC)
