Conflict of interest

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.

This includes the article about your father. 69.181.249.92 (talk) 04:43, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article about your father

[edit]

Please stop putting in extensive lists of films, people he's written lyrics for and directors he has worked with. I am going to make a page for all of this information soon, but putting it all in his biography just creates a page that is too long. Like I said, once I have made a filmpgraphy page, you are feree to add all this information, but please refrain from adding it to his biography. I have all the information you have put about it saved in a word document. Ripswitched (talk) 06:02, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

cool. thanks.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Anand Bakshi, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot NG.

September 2011

[edit]

I have reverted your edits to Anand Bakshi since they really only added Facebook and YouTube links, both of which shouldn't be in an article like this. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 18:43, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Anand Bakshi & Filmography of Anand Bakshi. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. Not Encyclopic Content

[edit]

I know you are son of Anand Bakshi. I grew up listening excellent songs written by your father. I noticed that you are writing this article in a bad way. Seems that you are not looking at other articles to learn how to write encyclopedic article.

Soonar or later that miscallaneous section will be removed. I request you to move the content on some blog and give the link in External links section. Thanks. neo (talk) 21:20, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. A tag has been placed on Directors' Diaries - The Road To Their First Film, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
