[edit]Hello, I'm Arjayay. I noticed that you recently removed content from Surendra Pratap Singh without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - Arjayay (talk) 13:44, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hello
- I am from the family of Surendra Pratap Singh. Whatever information I edited about Surendra Pratap Ji, I talked to his younger brother Satyendra Pratap Singh. Please do not change it. The information given in it is 100 per cent correct. I am a consultant in Amar

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Surendra Pratap Singh, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 13:44, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
Hello, Rajssingh67. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Surendra Pratap Singh, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template), including links or details of reliable sources that support your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 13:46, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
- Following on from your e-mail to me - Wikipedia is not interested in who you are, other than the fact that you have a conflict of interest, so should not be editing a family members article.
Similarly, Wikipedia is not interested in what Satyendra Pratap Singh has to say about his brother Surendra Pratap Singh.
Wikipedia is only interested in what has already been published in reliable, independent sources published by a body with a reputation for fact-checking - No blogs, no self-published sources, no bodies with a conflict of interest. As you say you are a "consultant with Amar Ujala newspaper" please do not include any references from that source.
These sources must be properly cited in order to support any information added to, or changed in our pages, so the information can be verified as true in the future.
The responsibility for providing citations is solely on whoever adds or changes any information, to provide references from reliable sources that support those additions or changes.
You are repeatedly failing to do this, which is why your edits have been, and will continue to be, reverted, until you do add proper references.
Please see Help:Referencing for beginners for the "how to" guide. - Arjayay (talk) 13:55, 30 November 2024 (UTC)- some books published on SP Singh these information mentioned there. some information published in news papers I have already mentioned Jansatta
