A tag has been placed on Bangalorean (Website) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Milton India requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

A tag has been placed on Bridal association of america, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

inuse articles

[edit]

Hi, Rahulgemawath! I noticed you just added some tags to John Killeen Handy (politician) which is flagged as {{inuse}} article for classroom purposes. I'd appreciate it if you didn't tag these in this way as these articles are deliberate stubs which the students will work on (as explained in the inuse tag). Adding extra tags will only confuse them. Thanks Kerry (talk) 07:57, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I will revoke this.

Further to this, please familiarise yourself with WP:POLITICIAN. As a member of a state parliament, Henry Williams is intrinsically notable period, and you just nominated him for speedy deletion when he's not eligible for deletion at all. Two sentences is not "no content" for the purposes of the CSD criteria and never has been. You desperately need to familiarise yourself more with Wikipedia policy if you're going to run around tagging things. The Drover's Wife (talk) 08:12, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I will revoke this.

Are you editing for pay?

[edit]

Hi there Baligema. I'm a volunteer on conflict of interest related subjects and came across your contributions in relation to another editor. I have a simple question: are you paid for the things you write about on Wikipedia? If the answer is yes, it's not the end of the world, but there are some things you will have to do to continue editing here. You can just reply here, I'll be watching for an answer. Thanks. Brianhe (talk) 16:32, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Smileverse, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Request reason:

Decline reason:

I'm sorry, but after reviewing the overlap of the accounts in questions, there's just way too much clear coordination between this group of accounts. It may be helpful to be more transparent; obviously there's more here than just "other user have the same hobby". Kuru (talk) 13:25, 31 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@SpacemanSpiff:- who is the sockmaster here? Also, what evidence do you have? PhilKnight (talk) 21:39, 30 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@SpacemanSpiff: Please give details here; who do you believe is the puppet master, and why?--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 22:18, 30 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I note the confirmation of sockpuppetry; the fact that this is the sockmaster rather than a sockpuppet is, of course, of only marginal relevance in terms of the unblock request. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 15:40, 3 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of List of Mattress retailers in United States

[edit]

The article List of Mattress retailers in United States has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

List created by a spammer/sock to drive traffic to a page created for promotion of a paid client. Lacks a lead section and is basically a recreation of the "Mattress retailers of the United States" category.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
