Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with...Good morning. I am RafizadehTO100P and have two questions. 1) I have submitted two articles, but can only see one. How can I see both? 2) The article that I am currently seeing is in Sandbox. How do I clear and reset the Sandbox so I can work on another article?

RafizadehTO100P (talk) 14:47, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There's a sandbox at User:RafizadehTO100P/sandbox and a draft at Draft:Earth’s two versions. Special:MyContributions will show all of your contributions, with different filters to look at pages created, recent edits, etc. If you want to create a new page, you're welcome to use the Article wizard to create a draft, or feel free to create a second sandbox. If you go to User:RafizadehTO100P/sandbox 2, it's currently a redlinked/nonexistent page, but you can create it there (or any name that you put in [[square brackets]]. If you want more help, change the {{help me-helped}} back into a {{help me}}, stop by the Teahouse, or Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Primefac (talk) 14:59, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Rather than create sandboxes, I recommend a Help:userspace draft when you're trying to start a new article. This gives the draft a more useful name than "sandbox". Use sandboxes for experimentation and such; use drafts for drafts. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 15:05, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Please have a look at your sandbox again. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 23:06, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

FRINGE

[edit]

In looking at your two drafts, my impression is that you are writing about topics that mainstream science would consider fringe, for which there are some policies at FRINGE that you may want to make yourself aware of. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 15:13, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Earth’s two versions (January 19)

[edit]
Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by ToBeFree was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Wikipedia is not a publisher of Fringe theories and original research. Wikipedia is a tertiary source that summarizes what reliable secondary sources say about a topic. To challenge this decision, you need to prove that the term "Two versions of earth" is more than a neologism and science-fiction novel topic.

Conflict of Interest in references

[edit]

In the drafts you are preparing, the name of one of the authors of a book you are citing is strongly suggestive that you are citing your own work. This represents a sort of conflict of interest that you should at least declare on your user page. Adding references to your own work on Wikipedia is often taken as a sign of promotionalism or REFSPAM. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 19:25, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dear jmcgnh, thanks for guidance and insightful comments. The submitted articles are not fringe as evidenced by references. They represent the mainstream view of theories of Earth’s glacial and interglacial conditions. Current Wikipedia articles on glacial and interglacial Earth lack comprehensive and coherent coverage of Earth’s glacial and interglacial conditions. The submitted articles remove that deficiency and provide a compact, comprehensive and encyclopedic view of Earth’s glacial and interglacial conditions based on the latest available information. There is no conflict of interest as my work is a small part of the knowledge base of Earth’s glacial and interglacial conditions. Best. RafizadehTO100P (talk) 20:36, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
