Western Swing

You've helped out on this page and I'm hoping you will help me make it a better article. I think it would be rated higher if all of the list stuff is eliminated. You and I have both put a fair amount of effort into the article, and I think it deserves a better rating thatn C, based on written material. Would you support this action? I can look up standards if you think it's necessary. Steve Pastor (talk) 20:37, 9 July 2010 (UTC) So, now I see you put the rating on the article! Is there a discussion on what needs to be done, or how the evaluation was done? Steve Pastor (talk) 23:43, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Help with AfD Discussion

Hello - not sure by your user name who we're talking to, but we respectfully ask that you visit a couple of pages to see if you can help us with them, and if you'd be willing to join the discussion that is in progress on the related AfD pages. Elevating Entertainment and No Limit Kids. I see you've done some editing on George Hamilton IV. And we've been involved in his career for many years, including casting him in his first movie role and releasing a number of his CDs in the past 20 years. We've only contributed limitedly to Wiki, and are not all that familiar with protocol and procedure. But we have never experienced this type debate so don't really know how to properly respond. If you feel you can't join in the debate, then any further suggestions on how to respond further would be greatly appreciated. Both pages have just been re-listed AfD after 7 days for further debate. Image sources

I was wondering if you have links for the sources of the images File:LC-39_Press_Site.jpg and File:LC-39 Grandstand - Apollo 12.jpg. I tried to find the images, based on the NASA IDs that you provided, but was unable to find the images in the NASA collections. —TheDJ (talkcontribs) 00:32, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

DJ: I don't have links but I do have the photo numbers, 116-KSC-69C-4213 and AS12-0352-69PC-659, which I have added to the descriptions. I had tried to include them using a NASA image template that's no longer working for whatever reason, so I removed them. Hope that helps? -RadioBroadcast (talk) 01:25, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

I had already found the numbers, but I can't find anything that matches those numbers. Do you remember from which NASA repository you downloaded the images ? P.S. The template NASA-image only works on Wikimedia Commons, not on Wikipedia. —TheDJ (talkcontribs) 02:24, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
DJ:
I have a glossy print of 116-KSC-69C-4213, which I scanned; AS12-0352-69PC-659 is a scan from a friend of mine who may have it as a glossy as well. RadioBroadcast (talk) 03:49, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

I have made a major change to an article that you may or may not like and you may be an interested party, I thought I'd give you a "heads up" so hat you may comment and/or make or suggest improvements. VictorianMutant (talk) 02:36, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

Edit summaries

Thank you for your recent changes to rocket articles like Juno I. But may I ask for some small favours. Could you type something into the 'Summary:' field so that we have an idea of what you have done without having to do manual comparisons? And could you make use of the 'Show preview' button followed by a single save instead of saving many small changes. Thanks.  Stepho  (talk) 05:32, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

Spaceflight portals

Hello! As an member editor of one or more of the Spaceflight, Human spaceflight, Unmanned spaceflight, Timeline of spaceflight or Space colonisation WikiProjects, I'd like to draw to your attention a proposal I have made with regards to the future of the spaceflight-related portals, which can be found at Portal talk:Spaceflight#Portal merge. I'd very much appreciate any suggestions or feedback you'd be able to offer! Many thanks,

Thanks for cleaning up. Were you also watching TCM on Sunday night? ;) Drmies (talk) 15:34, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

WikiProject Human spaceflight activity

Hello there! As part of an effort to determine how many active editors are present in the spaceflight-related WikiProjects, I have made some changes to the list of members of WikiProject Human spaceflight. If you still consider yourself to be an active editor in this project, I would be grateful if you would please edit the list so that your name is not struck out - thus a clearer idea of the critical mass of editors can be determined. Many thanks in advance!

Orphaned non-free image File:Hank Williams.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Hank Williams.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk 04:26, 24 November 2010 (UTC)

WikiProject Spaceflight reboot

Hello there! As you may or may not be aware, a recent discussion on the future of the Space-related WikiProjects has concluded, leading to the abolition of WP:SPACE and leading to a major reorganisation of WP:SPACEFLIGHT. It would be much appreciated if you would like to participate in the various ongoing discussions at the reorganisation page and the WikiProject Spaceflight talk page. If you are a member of one of WP:SPACEFLIGHT's child projects but not WP:SPACEFLIGHT itself, it would also be very useful if you could please add your name to the member list here. Many thanks!

Capital Bald capital Eagle?

Curious as to why you capitalized bald eagles. They generally aren't treated quite so formally!  :) Student7 (talk) 14:34, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

Actually, They Are Treated That Formally! You Are Right! And I Have No Idea How To Treat The Other Species. Carefully, I Assume!  :) Student7 (talk) 17:35, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
