Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 06:03, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

[edit]

I saw you asked about how to add an image to an article. At first I'm going to ask you if you yourself have a photograph of that person, or if you know where to find a photo that is compatible with Wikipedia's licensing rules? The simple version of it is that we can not upload photos (of living persons) here which are fully copyrighted. — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 13:58, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your userpage

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your user page may not meet Wikipedia's user page guideline. If you believe that your user page does not violate our guideline, please leave a note on this page. Alternatively you may add {{Db-userreq}} to the top of the page in question and an administrator will delete it, or you can simply edit the page so that it meets Wikipedia's user page guideline. You've posted a little too much of material that has nothing to do with Wikipedia, including some lyrics which I assume are probably copyrighted. I would recommend removing most of the text sections. Something to keep in mind: Wikipedia is not a free webhost, and it's not a social network. — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 07:22, 15 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This warning still applies. Please remove inappropriate content from your userpage, including the lyrics. — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 10:02, 15 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I removed the lyrics myself as a copyright violation. — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 10:04, 15 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

User pages and talk pages

[edit]

Please don't ever edit my userpage (or anyone else's), thank you. Messages go on talk pages. If the top of the page does not say "User talk:" then you are not on the user's talk page. I completely understand how newbies can make this mistake but I'm really not happy about this edit of yours. — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 09:57, 15 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Also this and this, please do not touch other people's pages (unless they need to be edited to conform with policy). — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 09:59, 15 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
