Hi, thanks for message. I deleted your article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the organisation claims or interviewing its management. You have no independent third party references at all, just links to your own website, with much text unreferenced completely.
  • it's all about what the organisation claims to do, little about the organisation itself other than its location. To show notability you need hard verifiable facts such as the number of employees, funding or expenditure.
  • it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced or self-sourced claims presented as fact include: OUTA has it within their mandate to work consistently against corruption in order to contribute to South Africa being an efficiently managed country... To be a trusted vehicle for positive change... the squandering, maladministration and corrupt use of taxes... our clear and effective methodology... Values that OUTA adhere to include: the courage to defend the vulnerable and tax payers of South Africa against those that seek to exploit them; to challenge those guilty of maladministration and corruption; integrity in the behaviour of employees in both their internal environments and external interaction with stakeholders; innovative thinking in the pursuit of excellence; humility in all engagements and accountability towards funders and citizens of South Africa.— and so on, just a press release, not a factual article, complete with bolding so we don't miss the point.
  • there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections. That's particularly the case when they are spamlinks to the organisation.
  • the article was created in a single edit without wikilinks or references, and looks as if was copied from an unknown and possibly copyrighted source. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial. Text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
  • Not a reason for deletion, but note that your title is incorrect. Either "Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse" or "OUTA", with a redirect to the other, but you can't have the name and the acronym as one title
  • If you have a conflict of interest when editing this article, you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for the organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. If you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:RachelFischer. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=RachelFischer|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria I've linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read "Your first article". You must also reply to the COI request above Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:03, 8 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
