Sol Invictus

[edit]

Yes, Neo-folk has a colourful history, but you do no one any good (least of all this Encyclopedia) by putting up unsourced accusations. To my knowledge, Wakeford's past is just that, his past. If you have reliable sources that demonstrate that Sol Invictus, or Tony Wakeford, are involved with neo-nazi organisations or politics, they may belong in one or the other articles. For now, however, there is a mention of Wakeford's past in his article.

This collaboration [Death in June] came to end due to musical differences and because of his membership at the time of the British National Front. Wakeford has had no connection or interest in such ideas for 20 or more years and describes his membership as probably the worst decision he ever made.[1]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we must insist that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on List of DuckTales episodes. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Gh87 (talk) 19:49, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm confounded. Gh87, I was trying to revise the article to address the very issues that you, yourself, tagged it with. I have started a new section on the article's talk page to address the changes that I am trying to make, and am hoping that the other editors respond to explain why they don't fnd them desirable. (Especially given that I'd incorporated citations.) RWynns (talk) 19:54, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You did all right. However, you constructed your citations as if it were a paper essay, and editors may see it as unconstruction. Try reading Wikipedia:Citing sources, Wikipedia:About, and Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not if you have more free time to do so. Alternatively, discuss this in other editors' talk pages, such as User talk:Xeworlebi. --Gh87 (talk) 20:13, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Tried that, don't seem to be getting anywhere. Is this a coordinated trolling effort on both you guys' parts? RWynns (talk) 20:22, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I realize that was a hastily-made, overly-emotional response. Just felt like, at the time, like I was being shut out. RWynns (talk) 21:15, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
To help you get out of steam, go to {{Template sandbox}}. You may create your own user sandbox subpage (see Wikipedia:User pages#What may I have in my user pages?. --Gh87 (talk) 21:56, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
