Article Removed because of "OR and HOWTO issues, redirecting"

[1]

Hello,

Im new to Wikipedia (as writer not as reader) and I know I still make mistakes. Can you explain to me what parts of that article ware incorrect so I can edit them and post without them. From what I understand from your message - I need to remove the HOWTO protect part and outbound links (I'm pretty sure I have to use sources)

Thank you in advance — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tnickolay (talkcontribs) 07:00, 3 July 2017 (UTC)

@Tnickolay: Hi and thanks for your message! The article in question had issues that conflicted with Wikipedia's policies about original research (making statements that are not verified by reliable sources, or combining sources to make a statement that was not made individually by either of them) and policies against Wikipedia being a "how-to" guide. The article as it stood made multiple claims without providing reliable sources and read more like a blog post or how-to manual than an encyclopedia article. Since there was already a section on VOIP security in the main Voice over IP article I made the page a redirect to that section since the title was a plausible search term. If you are looking to recreate the article I recommend you explore the Articles for Creation process, which allows you to develop a draft on your own time and seek input from other editors to help you improve your article even more. Hope this helps, and if you have any more questions please feel free to pay a visit to the Wikipedia Teahouse which is dedicated to answering questions from new editors! Thank you very much. I understood what seems to be the problem. Will recreate the article removing the "How to" parts and will watch out so I don't duplicate content from the VOIP security section. Will add more sources (reliable ones) too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tnickolay (talkcontribs) 06:47, 4 July 2017 (UTC)

Kentucky Rain - I am the 'source' as I was adding MY details and correcting minor mistakes. I was Bill's partner at Porter Industries and facilities engineer at URCON. My personal mikes used for the 'live - during re-mix' addition of the strings and french horns. Same as with Suspicious Minds - done on the same day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Prof. F. J. When Jamie went to London... We broke up

Just a friendly note on When Jamie went to London... We broke up. I declined your speedy deletion request because A1 does not apply. See especially the last line of A1 -- both a google search of the title and clicking on any of the references will tell you it's an album. Cheers. --Fabrictramp | talk to me 01:41, 31 July 2017 (UTC)

@Fabrictramp: Ok, thanks for the heads up! RA0808 talkcontribs 19:35, 31 July 2017 (UTC)
