Speedy deletion nomination of R.udayamoorthy
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on R.udayamoorthy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Dengero (talk) 12:11, 30 November 2012 (UTC)

[edit]I see that so far your only edits have been to a page about yourself, at first posted as an article, and then moved to your user page. While we do allow contributors to the encyclopaedia to post some personal details on their user pages, Wikipedia is not a social network site, and the use of a user page to host content about a person who is not contributing to the encyclopaedia is not in line with the user page guidelines. IF posting about yourself was just a first step, and you do intend to contribute to the encyclopaedia, then I look forward to seeing your contributions. If, however, your only intention is to write about yourself, then Wikipedia is not the right place to do it, and you should [perhaps use a social network site instead. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:22, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
I see now that, since I wrote the above message, you have added more content to your user page, which is not so clearly about yourself, but it is still, as far as I can see, not related at all to contributing to the encyclopaedia. In fact, you appear to be using the page as a blog or social network, which is not the purpose of Wikipedia. If you wish to contribute to the project to build an encyclopaedia then you are very welcome to do so. If, however, your only intention is to use Wikipedia as a place to post your own personal information and your own thoughts, then I'm afraid you are in the wrong place. You would be better off going to a social network, such as FaceBook, or a blog provider, such as blogspot. If you continue to use Wikipedia as a web host for your own stuff unrelated to building the encyclopaedia, then you are likely to be blocked from editing. Speedy deletion nomination of R.udayamoorthy
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on R.udayamoorthy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — O Fortuna!
