Welcome!
[edit]Welcome!
Hello, Queen Keisha™, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! --ais523 16:38, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
Deleting your account
[edit]Accounts can't actually be deleted if they have any contributions, for copyright reasons. There are a few possibilities, though; you can change your username, which will remove your old username from the history (changing your contribs to the new name), or you can vanish. However, is there any need to delete your old account? The easiest thing to do is to just create a new username; seeing as you've never had any warnings, you could just abandon this account and start a new one. --ais523 11:32, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
- By the way, I see that you considered using {{helpme}}. Based on our contributions, it seems that we live in different time zones, so {{helpme}} would probably have been faster than sending me a message (helpmes normally take about 10 minutes for someone to show up). Both methods are equal acceptable in terms of asking for help. --ais523 11:35, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
