Help desk

[edit]

You asked on the Wikipedia:Help desk how to create pages - the guide is at Help:Starting a new page.

At the moment, it looks like you're using your user page - User:Queen Alyssa - to create an article. This is fine, you can cut-and-paste the text into a new article when you start it.

Pages you've edited are shown in your watchlist and contributions (both at the very top of the page) so you can keep an eye on them.

If you need help for any reason, just click "edit this page" and type {{helpme}} (and save) and someone will be along shortly to help out --h2g2bob (talk) 23:18, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Note

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Denny Jiosa article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. DS 17:18, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

hey alyssa, i think you havent understood the requirements of WP. Let me explain... you have to put "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

on the external website.

thanks for the contribution and in fact i dont mind helping you with the article but without the release from the author this will not be acceptable in the current form. Also if you want i can try and help you re word the article (although it might be a little difficult.lets still try...)

cheers and keep adding stuff to WP....ajoy (talk) 18:11, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Denny Jiosa has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

fails WP:NBAND and WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
