{{unblock|My username is a reference to a character in a 1991 video game on the Commodore Amiga called 'Hunter'. There is no intention to be profane and, over my several years of membership at wikipedia, have made what I hope would be viewed as valuable contributions. I have publicly licensed my material work at wikimedia commons and contributed to an extent at en.wikinews.org. I would appreciate it greatly if I could be allowed to continue to contribute to wikipedia projects. While I maintain that my username was never intended to cause offence, I would entertain the idea of having my username changed if this is the only means by which I can retain my edit history. Hi Pvt Parts,

Would you mind waiting a little while before being unblocked? This seems, to me, to be a mistake, but I'd like to do the blocking admin the courtesy of talking to him about it first. If he doesn't reply very soon, I'll unblock you without talking to him, but if I can talk to him first, it would cause a lot less drama. Is that OK?
