Self promotion

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 13:07, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Installing-mixer-tap.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Polly (Parrot) 22:21, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've deleted African Coffee because most of it was identical to material at www.coffeeresearch.org/coffee/kenya.htm and other sites. Please see Wikipedia:Copyrights. Tom Harrison Talk 14:24, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Diletto, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to Diletto. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalized, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. 𝕭𝖗𝔦𝔞𝔫𝕶𝔫𝔢𝔷 talk 13:40, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is apparently an account shared by two or more people, judging by the constant recurrence of "we" in posts made by this account; that is not permissible

Request reason:

To my knowledge I haven't used the word "We". If I have, please provide me with the content so I can edit it. If it is in connection with the editing of the Diletto page, this was done in 2009 and have improved my knowledge of Wikipedia quite a bit since then. Please could you re-consider my account from being blocked and open it again. Thanks very much.

Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
