WikiProject Dinosaurs

[edit]

Hi PunkRock!

There's currently less than 100 dinosaurs left on the Missing dinosaur page. We've come a long way! I was thinking that since there's just under 100 dinosaurs left, and since there are 25 of us signed on for the project, if we each wrote about four articles, we'd be done! Well, not "done", obviously, as many of the articles are in need of expansion. But then we could focus on expansion and other things.

You could take, say, Prodeinodon, Prosaurolophus, Protecovasaurus and Pseudolagosuchus.

It's just an idea, of course, and you're of course not obligated and can do whatever you like; I just figured I'd mention the idea, and see if you were interested. No harm, right?

Take care, --Firsfron 07:05, 23 April 2006 (UTC) :)[reply]

WikiProject Cryptids

[edit]

I dropped a line on the talk page of Wikipedia:WikiProject Cryptids. It's a great idea for a wikiproject. --Joelmills 16:00, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I happen to like you ideas for the cryptid project. I'll surely participate in it. Punk18

I have a book over here about Cryptids. I'm reading it right now and taking notes on material. I hope to get a few detailed sightings, information and research about many cryptids. Punk18

The project page you created above is technically eligible for deletion because the project does not have any active members. You might want to add a members section and add your own name to it to avoid this event. Also, you may wish to review the Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Guide for some information about publicizing and otherwise informing editors about your project. Thank you for your attention. Hi PunkRock!

I'm planning to send Stegosaurus to Featured Article candidacy. The article failed its first nomination, but user:Casliber and I have been hard at work fixing stuff. As you're listed as a member of Wikipedia: WikiProject Dinosaurs, I figured I'd drop you a line and see if there was anything you thought should be added/removed/cited on the article before it is sent to FAC. We definitely want it to pass! :)

(Feel free to make any edits on the article itself, comment on the talk page, or leave a note on my talk page). Thanks for your time, Firsfron of Ronchester 19:45, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Miseria Cantare - The Beginning, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
