E-mails

[edit]

Thank you for your e-mails - although you do not need to send three of them, As stated on both my user page and talk page "I will probably reply on your talk page, or the article talk page, as discussions should be open and on the record."
I have reverted three of your edits/groups of edits at Sudeep - The first I explained as "Rv unsourced additions/changes + overlinking - do not link common words" the second as "Rv image nominated for deletion at commons as a copyvio" and the third as "Rv earlier unsourced speculation" -
I'm not sure which of these edit summaries you do not understand, but, briefly, every edit you make should be supported by a reference, to a reliable source, whereas none of your edits to that article were sourced in any way at all. Wikipedia is not interested in what you "know", what the "latest buzz" may be, what is "expected" or what "his close networks" may, or may not say. Wikipedia is only interested in what has already been published in independent, reliable, sources, which need to be properly cited in the article, to show where the information has come from.
Regarding the overlinking, please read and follow WP:OVERLINKING, We do not link common words, major geographic features, languages, nationalities, ethnicities and religions. Furthermore we only link the first use of a word in an article.
As for removing the image, the image on that page has already been deleted as a copyright violation, along with most of the other images you uploaded this morning - Wikipedia takes copyright seriously, unless the person/object was actually in front of you, and you pressed the camera shutter yourself, pictures are NOT your "own work". Almost everything you find in the internet is copyright, and cannot be used in our articles.
Please be more careful in your future edits and ensure everything is properly sourced and not a copyright violation - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 19:33, 19 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

October 2017

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to T. N. Seetharam. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! Hello, Punithshivanna. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Risen (2018 film), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Domdeparis (talk) 17:00, 15 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Raamanu Kaadige Hodhanu has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NFF and WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Deletion discussion about Risen (2018 film)

[edit]

Hello, Punithshivanna,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Risen (2018 film) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Risen (2018 film) .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Domdeparis (talk) 19:30, 15 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Indic script

[edit]

Please stop adding Indic script to our India-related articles, as you did at Sudeep‎ and Darshan (actor), since this contravenes WP:NOINDICSCRIPT - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 11:00, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Mandya district. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 18:59, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
