Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Pumslau, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

You may also want to complete the Wikipedia Adventure, an interactive tour that will help you learn the basics of editing Wikipedia. You can visit the Teahouse to ask questions or seek help.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Again, welcome!

Please read the above, - sorry that it's a lot. You added to an article, an image and text. The image is not formatted well, and the text is not referenced. It was reverted. Now - and perhaps you don't know - a very useful guideline (WP:BRD - bold - reverted: discuss) says that if you are reverted, don't revert back, but discuss on the article talk. Now that you know that, you could do 2 things: self-revert your revert, and propose you changes on the article talk page, or at least format the image (it should not "sandwich" the text, being opposite another image, and it should not link to the very article) and add a reference for the text. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:59, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Adding: even if a revert is not justified, it's fair to not revert back, but bring the matter to the talk page. Edit warring begins with the revert back. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:19, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
