The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
As ThaddeusB noted, the premise of this discussion (ie, the warnings and the claims made about what I did and said) is not even remotely true. It is preserved rather than just blanked mostly only because it is mildly amusing.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article April 2010 Baghdad bombings, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This is particularly important when adding or changing any facts or figures and helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.--Vimbo Gales (talk) 20:21, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Considering that I didn't add any content, but rather removed your uncited content (ie, the claim that the CIA carried out the bombings]]), I don't know what you're complaining about. //Programming gecko (talk) 20:23, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Its nothing personal, don't take it that way! --Vimbo Gales (talk) 20:27, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to April 2010 Baghdad bombings. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --Vimbo Gales (talk) 20:27, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop leaving warnings on my page telling me not to add uncited content. I have not added any uncited content; I am removing uncited content. //Programming gecko (talk) 20:28, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Contrary to your claim that "almost everything in the article is uncited", it is easy to see that the article is quite well referenced. As to "it is only suspected", that makes no difference. Find a reliable source that says that the Al-Qaeda in Iraq is "suspected" of carrying out the bombing and cite your addition.
It is quite easy to look in the article and see that those citations are already there. References #1 and 6 appear to cover that. //Programming gecko (talk) 20:32, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article reads more like a tabloid than anything else. There are other points of views beside popular newspapers. --Vimbo Gales (talk) 20:40, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is April 2010 Baghdad bombings. Thank you. --Vimbo Gales (talk) 20:40, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am well aware of that, since I'm the one who STARTED the discussion. Please stop copying everything I put onto your talk page and putting it on mine. //Programming gecko (talk) 20:42, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Survey

[edit]

Hi Programming gecko!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!

Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
