A welcome from Sango123

[edit]

Hello, Princess Homestar, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We're glad to have you in our community! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy editing!

P.S. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you need help with anything or simply wish to say hello. :)

Peter Lowenbrau Griffin

[edit]

I'm pretty sure Peter's middle name was established in the second season episode "Peter Peter Caviar Eater." But I'll make a note to doublecheck that the next time I watch that episode. Cromulent Kwyjibo 22:15, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Scaife (Talk) Don't forget Hanlon's Razor 04:04, 12 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to try explaining this at the level of a child (I hope): Please realize that Wikipedia is not your personal playground. You can write what you like (within limits) to your user page but you can't add nonsense into articles. What you can add into articles needs to be valid, sourced information. I really hope this helps - File:Ottawa flag.png nathanrdotcom (TCW) 04:20, 12 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your userpage.

[edit]

I fixed up your userpage a little. I hope you don't mind.

Basically what I did was:

  • aligned userboxes properly
  • added some wikilinks
  • fixed spacing

Your FG Section

[edit]

I just edited the name of the FG movie to it's correct spelling and capitalization, and I changed the spelling of the book to the correct spelling also. I hope you don't mind. If you do, feel free to change it back. Lbr123 03:25, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Really?

[edit]

Are you really 10 years old, and if so, where did you learn words like this? TheJabberwock 01:40, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would not find it all too incredible for a 10-year-old to know such words. At least I myself knew some when I was that age, although I didn't really understand the more offensive ones. JIP | Talk 13:23, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I'm 10.--Princess Homestar

I knew lots of swears when I was her age. Blame my environment. (And BTW, how does she know about all those punk bands and stuff?) KinseyLOL 22:18, 15 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wow!

[edit]

We share the same interests!!! BTW, I'm 11 and I know a girl on the HRFWiki who has the same user name. (KinseyLOL 18:25, 10 May 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Cool! I'm 10 and my username on the HRFWiki is Family guy(I'm a girl. I just like the show family guy).---Princess Homestar

ME TOO! LOL! KinseyLOL 14:39, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In case you find the material here difficult to read, have you thought of editing on the Simple English Wikipedia? It caters to children and anyone whose English is not their first language. Try that out. See how you like it. --Shultz IV 14:40, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So you hate neopets too

Proposed Children's English Wikipedia

[edit]

There is currently a request for a Children's English Wikipedia at meta. The difference between the English Wikipedia and the proposed one is that this wiki is quite complicated and talks a lot about boring stuff. You can vote and find out more about the request at the request page.

You have got this message because you are categorized as a child Wikipedian. If you have been categorized incorrectly, I suggest that you remove the code that does that and I appologize for any inconvenience caused. --Leon2323

Survey

[edit]

Hi Princess Homestar!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!

Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you!
