Why are non-American variations of spellings like "centres" and "behaviour" used in articles?
Wikipedia is an American website, so why are non-American variations of spellings like "centres" and "behaviour" used in articles?
Here is the address of Wikipedia to prove that the headquarters of Wikipedia are in the USA:
Wikimedia Foundation, 1 Montgomery St., Suite 1600, San Francisco, CA 94104 U.S.A.
In my opinion, the American version of spellings should be used in all articles unless the article is referencing a completely non-American topic.
Thank you.
