Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Hot Space Tour, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Flash (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hi! I have restored the 4 suburbs on Moreton Island under City of Brisbane. Since you didn't cite your source, I have no idea why you think they aren't suburbs, but I am guessing you were looking at https://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/about-council/council-information-and-rates/brisbane-suburbs where it says 190 mainland suburbs without making it clear that Moreton Island is divided in 4 further bounded localities (one large one called Moreton Island and other three small ones). But in any case, the Brisbane City Council does not determine its suburbs or their boundaries or indeed the boundaries of the City of Brisbane. These are decided by the Queensland Government (although I assume the BCC gets some input into the decisions) and the authoritative sources are the Queensland Place Names database (which is the easiest one to lookup and cite for Wikipedia purposes) and the Qld Globe (which is great if you want to see the information on a map, but not so quick to lookup and more difficult to cite). I note that there is a possible 5th non-mainland bounded locality called "Moreton Bay" which includes the northern part of Moreton Bay (as a bay) and the unhabitated islands (Mud Island, St Helena Island and Green Island). At the moment, there is an inconsistency where the QPN is listing it with an empty LGA field but the Qld Globe reports it as having LGA City of Brisbane. I have contacted the Qld Govt team who look after these to find out why this inconsistency exists and hopefully resolve it one way or the other. Since Queensland (unlike some states) does have all of its habitable land within an LGA, I will be quite surprised if the locality of Moreton Bay isn't within any LGA. I note that there is another locality called Moreton Bay (just to be confusing, and it's not the only duplicated suburb/locality name in Queensland) which is in Redland City, which covers the middle part of the Moreton Bay and its uninhabitated islands (the inhabited islands being their own localities), and then for the very south of Moreton Bay, there is another locality called Southern Moreton Bay Islands within the City of Gold Coast which I believe are all uninhabited. Excellent, thanks for clarifying that, I’d seen the 190 suburbs listed on that Brisbane City Council site but didn’t notice it only said ‘mainland’. I’d seen those other 5 localities (including Moreton Bay) elsewhere but wasn’t sure if I should include them as the Brisbane City Council site didn’t mention them. Thanks for fixing the page up.
