Song lyrics

[edit]

Hi. I have had to delete the song lyrics you posted to When Things Were Rotten. It is against Wikipedia rules to post song lyrics as that's considered a copyright violation. Exceptions can be made if the song is public domain or something like a national anthem, and the theme to When Things Were Rotten falls into neither category. Sorry about that. Cheers! 23skidoo 15:24, 7 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for letting me know. Too bad, though! I quoted the song from memory, having been a fan of the original show when it aired. Primogen 01:30, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Some quick things

[edit]
  • For Category:Poker computer games, could you please tag this with {{db-author}}? The category is unused (as you redirected it ot poker computer and video games) and isn't a useful redirect.
  • To rename articles, pleas use the "move" tab at the top of the article instead of cutting-and-pasting the article from location to location; this is discouraged; pleas see WP:CUTPASTE for more details.
  • Great work on starting the poker articles. Keep it up. Hbdragon88 22:01, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the information! I'll be sure to make use of it in the future. Primogen 01:27, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream not Interactive fiction

[edit]

While I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream (computer game) is a great game, and it's an adventure game, it's not interactive fiction. I may be misremembering, but I believe the game relies heavily on graphics and (from memory) audio. Most of the interaction with the game is with the mouse, not text. If I've made the wrong call, please add it back and explain my mistake over at Talk:Interactive fiction Alan De Smet | Talk 22:38, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I re-read the article on interactive fiction, and you're right, the term applies only to text-based games. I went back and removed the phrase from a couple of other articles about adventure games that I contributed to. Primogen 01:29, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I Have No Mouth

[edit]

I don't remember where specifically. I suppose you can remove it from the article until a proper citation is needed.. I do remember there being a review somewhere that specifically mentioned the German version was unbeatable due to the removal of Nimdok's character.. I think it had something to do with all five characters needing to be present at a certain point in time.--Vercalos 23:40, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nathan Petrelli

[edit]

I didn't say anything about Nathan being able to survive flight that I can remember, so I don't know how you would have changed it... I said something about Peter being able to control other people's powers more effectively, which you changed. Is that what you meant? Its ok that you changed it, but I think something like that needs to be said: it's important that Peter's borrowed powers are not limited in the same way that his source's powers are. We know that it's true, because he didn't need heroin to see the future, so it's not speculation, and it could have serious impacts on the story, you know? (Hell, it already has, during that very scene.) Anyway, I leave the final judgement to you, but I think its an important point. Nerrolken 23:47, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Seven Minutes

[edit]

I wouldn't know if it's based on a source or not, but it would seem to be an accurate assumption. You defend a good point. Next time, just revert me. It's really not a big deal. Ace Class Shadow; My talk. 20:30, 2 November 2006 (UTC) [reply]

CFD: Fictional Fathers

[edit]

Hey there. You tagged Category:Fictional fathers, but never seem to have put up a discussion. I have for you at the following location: Wikipedia:Categories_for_deletion/Log/2006_November_17#Category:Fictional_fathers.

See you there! --Falcorian (talk) 14:15, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for correcting my oversight. I wasn't aware of the full process for cfd. Primogen 17:37, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, it can get a little complicated switching between pages and pasting various things to various places... But no problem. Cheers! --Falcorian (talk) 07:04, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Damnit...

[edit]

I thought i had gotten rid of the capitals, turns out i just got rid of the R. I thought it would be less offensive to HF stalwards if i left the healing factor mention right in the article, but if you are happy with that then cool. WookMuff 05:49, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. It'll be curious to see how the HF stalwards react. Primogen 05:58, 23 November 2006 (UTC) [reply]

No worries about reverting my edit - I thought I was fixing some recent vandalism, turned out I should have reverted to an earlier version than I did. WelshMatt 21:06, 26 November 2006 (UTC) [reply]

Heroes (TV series)))

[edit]

No problem, I thought about doing it all day as it really had nothing to do with the show to begin with, and neither of them had all that big a part in Goldmember any way.. EnsRedShirt 15:33, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, no problem about reverting my edit to the Heroes episode, where I included the wrong category. It's no big deal. Just posting so you're aware I got the message, since I was logged out when I did it and you put the edit on my IP's talk page. --Rebby 23:09, 5 December 2006 (UTC) [reply]

Claire

While the stick was in her brain the healing was not performed as well as in the pilot episode part of her internal organs needed to be pushed in before her body healed showing remote conscious effort to heal. –– Lid(Talk) 09:55, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I believe you are confusing the word "spontaneous" (definition: "arising from internal forces or causes; independent of external agencies; self-acting.") with "unconditional" or "unpreventable". That a foreign object can impede her healing ability or that her tissue can't be too far separated for the healing process to take place, does not mean that it is not spontaneous. Yes, i explained my position poorly it badly, but what i meant was should something to the effect be added, and that i had issues with the word vision. WookMuff 20:50, 18 December 2006 (UTC) [reply]

Those statements are verifiable. Ask anyone who has knowledge of Tim Cain. And don't stalk my edits. Made of people 23:36, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you were actually any expert on these two individuals and were fans of them, then you would leave the comment there and just let it be, because you know its true, even if a verifiable source cannot be readily produced. I suggest you rethink your purpose here on wikipedia and stop adhering to the rules 100%. I refer you to Ignore_all_rules, If the rules prevent you from improving or maintaining Wikipedia, ignore them. Made of people 23:57, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings Primogen, I see that you have tangled with this user and that he's reverted your talk page messages from his talk page in a rather hostile fashion. This individual is the permanently banned User:Mactabbed aka User:Maior. Your interaction with him is just the latest in a long string of disruptive and unhelpful editing on Wikipedia. This latest sockpuppet has been indef. blocked. If you would like to know more about this user I would recommend reading this and perhaps sharing your own experience. Thanks. Orphaned fair use image (Image:No Mouth PC Front.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:No Mouth PC Front.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fair use rationale for Image:Abandon_Mobile_Logo.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Abandon_Mobile_Logo.JPG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Videmus Omnia Talk 19:39, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
