A tag has been placed on Draft:Tătaru Mare Island requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

actually, it should have been redirected to Talk: Tătaru Mare Island. The error occurred because you made the move yourself, instead of submitting it andwaiting for a reviewer. (There are a number of special procedures in accepting a draft, and in practice these require the special system for reviewing draft articles WP:AFCH, which only those qualified by their experience here to review are able to use. Since your draft is fully satisfactory, and I am a very experienced reviewer, I redid this correctly. After you have made the small necessary number of additional edits here, you will be ableto edit directly in article space; until then, please use the AFC system. I hope we will have many future contributions of this sort from you--all named geographic features are considered notable, but man still do not have articles. Previous Wikipedia accounts

[edit]

Hello Prefectul. Please could you tell me if you have had any previous Wikipedia accounts other than this current one which you created in August 2018?

Please could you also tell me the purpose of the slightly more than ten edits like this that you made as your fifth and subsequent edits within three hours of creating this account? MPS1992 (talk) 23:13, 4 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No sir, I do not have any other account. I made those ten edits in hope that I would be auto-confirmed, since this required more than 10 edits. But I failed to realize that I also need to wait four days. I simply wanted to get my first draft published right after I was done writing it. Prefectul (talk) 04:15, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edit on the page Toma Ghițulescu added material which is not related to the subject of the article. Please do not do this as such edits are not constructive. If you have verifiable and notable material to add to Wikipedia about a subject with a similar name that is not related to the topic of the existing article, then another article should be created or requested. The titles of articles with the same names are distinguished according to Wikipedia's disambiguation guideline. If this edit was a test, please use the sandbox instead. Thank you. In the article, you are using the picture of the politician (not the bob sledder), a fact which you can see for yourself if you click on the Romanian version of the article. These are the 2 factors that drove me to do that edit. But I see now that you made a separate article yourself, thankyou for that. I just deleted the picture from the bobsledder one, and added bobsledder in brackets to its name. Hope that's fine. Prefectul (talk) 04:09, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Prefectul. Thanks for spotting that there are two articles about the same person. I've checked this against the Romanian WP article and merged them together. If you happen to spot any more like this in the future, please drop me a note. @Dl2000: - Hope that's OK, let me know if there's any problems. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 07:57, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot for merging the two articles and finally settling this matter. Prefectul (talk) 08:07, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. I've created lots of biographies for Olympians, and every now and again they are famous for something else! Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 09:02, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed. Toma G is among the very few members of the Antonescu cabinet to be officially rehabilitated. Quite an interesting Romanian phenomenon, although understandably contested strongly by the West. Makes me wonder of any such other case in the other Axis countries, if any member of the Mussolini or Hitler administrations was officially rehabilitated. Prefectul (talk) 09:06, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The merge seems to be a reasonable conclusion here; the initial view was that the bobsledder and politician were separate persons, and the bobsledding material was overwritten. Verification was complicated by a lack of fluency in Romanian. However, no problems seen with the current result @Prefectul: & @Lugnuts:. Dl2000 (talk) 20:41, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited National Legionary State, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fascist Italy (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Torpilorul, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

  • As a note, I had been in a quandary for quite some time over reporting you or not. Every since I had seen your username and editing focus, it was crystal clear that it was you. I decided that not reporting would be going against the consensus at ANI, and that sooner or later you would be caught by someone else. I encourage you to follow the the standard offer and wait some six months before seeking an unblock on your main account—socking will not lead to anything good for you or the encyclopedia. Hi Prefectul! In the box of the Romanian version, you indicated that the rubber spring elements were replaced by steel ones. While this is certainly possible, your edit description refers to the tyres. This made me wonder whether perhaps you confused the road wheel tyres with the horizontal rubber spring elements above the bogies. Could you perhaps check your source again to see if the spring elements were indeed replaced?

Greetings, --MWAK (talk) 13:03, 14 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You may be right. I do admit English is not my native language. I shall quote here the full source word for word, and let you decide the course of action: metal-rimmed wheels, designed by Ghiulai to be ten times as durable as the rubber-rimmed originals, were made at the Concordia Works Prefectul (talk) 15:36, 14 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the quotation! It seems to refer to the road wheels only. As long as we don't have a source for the spring elements, it's best to simply remove any indication from the box.--MWAK (talk) 07:48, 15 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
