SYRITZ
[edit]SYRITZ (pronounced as /*sairitz*/) is the association of the Department of Information Technology of Noorul Islam College of Engineering, Kumaracoil, Kanyakumari District, Tamilnadu, India.
The Department of Information Technology was started in 1998 by the Noorul Islam College of Engineering. The department has made a giant leap forward by fulfilling the unprecedented demand for ready-to-work professionals in multi national corporations and they have been trained under the able guidance of the Department's Head Prof. S. Suresh Kumar who is the heart of SYRITZ and other efficient and experienced faculty of the department. The faculty members of the department are instrumental in developing and judging the students intellectual ability, creativity, approach to solving problems, qualities of leadership, tolerance and group behaviour. The Department is moreover accredited to the NATIONAL BOARD OF ACCREDITATION (NBA), AICTE, New Delhi.
SYRITZ was founded by the first batch of the Department of Information Technology under the guidance of the Head of the Department Prof. Suresh Kumar and the Staff Co-ordinator Prof. P. Mohamed Shameem in 2000. From then, SYRITZ has been in the peak in conducting National Level Technical Symposiums, National Level Conferences, Software Contests, Personality Development Seminars and other Self Development Programs, Interview Technique Seminars etc. The main aim of SYRITZ is to develop the students of the department of Information Technology not only into an Engineer but also as a "PLUG AND PLAY" Professional for the IT Industry.
