Hi there! That's the canned welcome over - I'm just here to say thanks for creating the article TRACK MACHINES. As it seemed to be so far only about tamping machines, I moved it to Ballast tamper which is an article that someone else had suggested should be created earlier. As far as track machines go in general, you should check out Maintenance of way (TRACK MACHINES now redirect there as a matter of fact) since that has a list of "track machines" there, which could all have their own article.

As far as Ballast tamper goes, I've put the info you had there in a neater form, so it reads more like an encyclopedia. I hope I preserved all the meaning. It looked like it was a work in progress and I'm no expert on the subject so it would be cool if you could help some more. Try to get the hang of writing in a style that matches the rest of Wikipedia - in particular, don't write in all capitals. Once again, welcome! BigBlueFish 17:20, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
