Redirect3
Does the redirect Template:Redirect3 serve any purpose? Its existence can be lead to confusion: there used to be a template at this name (it got deleted at TfD a year ago) and it's conceivable there might be editors out there who might attempt to {{Redirect3}} expecting it to have the behaviour of that old template. – Uanfala (talk) 14:04, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
- You're right. I put in the edit summary 'feel free to delete if consensus is against it" and if consensus is against it, go ahead and delete the redirect. PorkchopGMX (talk with me - what i've done) 14:57, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
- I don't have the technical ability to delete anything (but you, as the creator of the redirect, can request it to be deleted by placing {{db-g7}} on it; provided you do want it deleted of course). Still, I'm wondering what use did you have in mind for this redirect? It could possibly make it worth keeping, or there might turn out to be another way to achieve the same goal. – Uanfala (talk) 00:57, 2 February 2019 (UTC)
LTA
I rv'ed your edits, because the user was an LTA (Long-term Abuser) --Thegooduser Life Begins With a Smile :) 🍁 03:55, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- WP:G5 says that the page cannot qualify for G5 if it was created before they were blocked. The page was created at 21:18, February 7, 2019 before their block at 21:34, February 7, 2019. I don’t know if this applies to LTA or not. PorkchopGMX (talk with me - what i've done) 04:02, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- ...and the page was deleted under WP:G5. Nothing else to do here. PorkchopGMX (talk with me - what i've done) 13:34, 8 February 2019 (UTC)

Thank you for your message. I have not heard from BilCat. I really want to contribute some factual information here, just wondering if I am doing something wrong?
Thank you

- I’m not sure if you’re doing anything wrong. I added a secret template in my reply that woild notify BilCat but maybe I typed the wrong name or they won’t respond. You can ask for help at places like the teahouse. PorkchopGMX (talk with me - what i've done) 18:36, 10 February 2019 (UTC)

Happy First Edit Day!
Please participate to the talk pages consultation
Hello
Our team at the Wikimedia Foundation is working on a project to improve the ease-of-use and productivity of wiki talk pages. As a Teahouse host, I can imagine you’ve run into challenges explaining talk pages to first-time participants.
We want all contributors to be able to talk to each other on the wikis – to ask questions, to resolve differences, to organize projects and to make decisions. Communication is essential for the depth and quality of our content, and the health of our communities. We're currently leading a global consultation on how to improve talk pages, and we're looking for people that can report on their experiences using (or helping other people to use) wiki talk pages. We'd like to invite you to participate in the consultation, and invite new users to join too.
We thank you in advance for your participation and your help.

ArbCom 2019 election voter message
Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!
Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.
Thank you!

3/4 goodbye
A 3/4 goodbye from me, because you are right, real life is definitely more important. But also thank you for your efforts on Wikipedia. And, of course, a 100% I hope you come back some time in the future. MPS1992 (talk) 22:26, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
- Goodbye, Whatever be the cause of your going, I am sure, taking a break will help you. At times we have to concentrate on real life, it is a personal call. I had to do this, myself. Sad to see you go and I hope you will return after the hiatus. --DBigXrayᗙ 13:22, 26 November 2019 (UTC)
- I am sorry to hear that you are leaving Wikipedia :( it's always sad to hear that an editor has to leave, We will miss you, especially at TheWikiWizard, Thanks for all you've done! I wish you the very best and hope that you will someday, return. I wish the best upon you, Goodbye and take care :-) --Thegooduser Life Begins With a Smile :) 🍁 00:59, 29 November 2019 (UTC)
