[edit]Hello, I noticed that you made a change to an article, Boeing P-8 Poseidon, but you did not provide a reliable source to justify the change. Please be sure to include a citation with changes in the future. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial. Thank you. -Fnlayson (talk) 15:10, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
My source is being able to look out of the door and see the plane pictured sitting in VX-1's hanger every day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Popsicle1107 (talk • contribs)
- Sorry but we are specifically prohibited from using original research because it is not verifiable, please see WP:OR for more information. - Ahunt (talk) 15:24, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
- And the picture was taken in Jan 2012. Planes get re-assigned to other units. -Fnlayson (talk) 15:56, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
- I think it's better to just leave the squadron info out altogether, as it's really not all that important to a photo. - BilCat (talk) 16:28, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Boeing P-8 Poseidon. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. The Bushranger One ping only 21:54, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
