I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. By the way, I moved your Fade Away information to a separate article - Fade Away (Mary Blige song) so that the disambiguation page for Fade Away could be restored. I added the Mary Blige version to the disambiguation page.Rlendog (talk) 03:32, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fade Away

[edit]

I received a notice that your article was deleted. This is the notice I received: "==Speedy deletion of Fade Away (Mary Blige song)==

A tag has been placed on Fade Away (Mary Blige song) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. DiverseMentality(Discuss it) 03:48, 29 June 2008 (UTC)"[reply]

If you want to restore it I would suggest adding content with footnotes so that the notability of the subject can be established.Rlendog (talk) 15:17, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your main user page

[edit]

Hi Popride, could you please give WP:USERPAGE a read? There are some issues with your user page that you can learn more about there. It recommends that you put works in progress into subpages. It also says that you cannot have your user page or works in progress in a category used by Wikipedia articles. I see you've been told some of this before this before on your other account, but I'll give you some time to handle it. For now I'll remove the category and tag your page with the userpage template. Louis Waweru  Talk  01:25, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's been about a week since the last message, so I made the changes required by wp:userpage for you. You can find the contents of your main page here: User:Popride2/Technical Difficulty. Please do not make another article on your main userpage, or include any of your user pages in Wikipedia categories. If you need help with anything, drop me a line on my talk page and I'll try my best to help you out. Louis Waweru  Talk  11:20, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:RENA aLBUM cOVER.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:RENA aLBUM cOVER.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 07:05, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:RENA aLBUM cOVER.JPG)

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading Image:RENA aLBUM cOVER.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice?
