Fair use rationale for Image:Ismap3.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Ismap3.gif. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Outworlds Alliance, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. A tag has been placed on Astrokaszy, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Xiaphias 03:12, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Citations
[edit]While your aid in adding source material is appreciated, please see WP:Cite for how to properly cite sources in Wikipedia format. I know I have been remiss in fixing my citations, but I don't have any of the books in the historical series, so could you please add the page numbers, as well? Scaletail 14:52, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Fronc Reaches, by AA (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. his/her ?
[edit]Why do you prefer "his/her" to simply "his" or "her" ?
http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=World_in_Conflict&diff=209942869&oldid=209856559
I personally think writing "his/her" is completely hideous and unnecessary. OliAtlason (talk) 20:23, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:MDB Cover V1.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:MDB Cover V1.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Is there a reason why you think we should keep unsourced OR in violation of policy? -- Ricky81682 (talk) 02:00, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
Please note. Removing the {{Reflist}} or <references /> tag from pages that have inline citations (i.e. <ref></ref> tags) will cause the page to generate a cite error. One of those two are required so inline citations automatically generate in the reference section. As such, I removed the reference from the reference section because it was automatically generated by the tag. I'm going to replace the tag again, and ask that you please leave it be. The article Star League Defense Force (SLDF) Uniforms has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- The subject of this article is way too specific and IMHO fails in its notability requirements. The article is about the fictional uniforms of a fictional military belonging to a fictional nation in a fictional universe.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Flamarande (talk) 23:18, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
The article Castle Brian Fortresses has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- The quality of this "article" is appalling. It consists of a single sentence. The subject are fictional fortifications of a fictional military of a fictional nation of a fictional universe. IMHO the subject fails uterly the needed notability requirements. Wikipedia-articles need to have some minimal quality standards.

Orphaned non-free image File:Originalwar boxshot-1-.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Originalwar boxshot-1-.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 07:56, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
This media file is of course not being being used I have no problem if it deleted This image was used for a period of time i checked and I see that another user had replaced it with a better image. So deletion of this media is of course warrented I have no objections.Popa01 (talk) 00:21, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Repost of History of the BattleTech universe
[edit] A tag has been placed on History of the BattleTech universe requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of continuing to recreate the page. Thank you. Non-free rationale for File:MA Tital.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:MA Tital.JPG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:14, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. File copyright problem with File:RB Vector of Hope.JPG
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:RB Vector of Hope.JPG. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:04, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
