Welcome![edit]

Hello, Politico Edit, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Lyndon Farnham, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Information icon Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Winged BladesGodric 13:42, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Politico Edit, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Politico Edit|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Winged BladesGodric 13:43, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Wikipedia is not a place to display your resume. Also, are you Lyndon or share any connections with him. Winged BladesGodric 12:33, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

YES I AM Lyndon. Who are you to interfere with my personal information. Can you either help me please to produce an accurate and informative page or stop harassing me. Thank you..

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Politico Edit. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Lyndon Farnham, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. You have already declared that you are the subject of this article. It is not your CV, but a biographical entry in an encyclopedia. All of the content that was removed was unreferenced. There are strict rules that require reliable sourcing for information added to biographies of living persons. That is why those additions were removed. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 20:46, 30 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Mr Farnham, please read the above and abide by Wikipedia's rules and regulations. They are there to protect people from malicious additions and changes. It is not your CV nor your page, it is a biographical entry in an encyclopedia. Please see above for how you can help edit contribute to this page without editing it directly. Thank you, Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 18:22, 31 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

May 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Dlohcierekim. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 18:30, 31 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 18:31, 31 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

June 2018[edit]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 14:37, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
