Request to have wikitext of deleted draft emailed to you at User_talk:Shirt58#Draft:Murugesvaran_Subramaniam

[edit]

Hi Plyworth,

My usual response to most things is "sure - is right now a good time for you?"

This is a bit more tricky - I might be emailing text that is a copyright violation in breach of my admin accountability. I'll have to look up whether this is permissible, and get back to you later on.

In the meantime, I would suggest that you simply start the draft again, writing it in your own words, using reliable sources that summarise what those sources say, with an awareness that the subject matter is about a living person. Perhaps you could look at how other English language articles about members of the British Armed Forces are written?

Apologies for not having an answer straight away - Wikipedia's policies and guidelines are quite complex and sometimes non-intuitive - I've been editing since 2006 and an admin since 2013, and still request help about them.

More generally, may I suggest that you help out with existing articles before writing one of your own? That is the gist of most responses by experienced editors to new editors here.

Best wishes for your en.wp editing! Shirt58 (talk) 🦘 09:45, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
