Orphaned fair use image (Image:Wowcargoalliance.JPG)

[edit]
Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Wowcargoalliance.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --Durin 21:35, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Airport move

[edit]

Hi. I noticed you did the move for the Bangkok airport articles. Here's how it should be:

  • Suvarnabhumi Airport should be the name of the article. It is the official name of the airport, and, doubtless, flight attendants and captains will be tripping over the name for many years to come.
  • Don Mueang International Airport should be the name of the old airport article. This is correct.
  • Bangkok International Airport could be a redirect to Suvarnabhumi (not the other way around) and then a disambig link to the Don Mueang article could be placed at the top of the Suvarnabhumi page. Or, it could be a disambiguation page, which gives links to both the old and new airports. The related talk pages for Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi should stay with their respective pages. Right now, the article link on the talk page of Bangkok International Airport is linked to the Don Mueang page. It should be linked to the Suvarnabhumi page. I've also left a note about this at Wikipedia:Requested moves. Sorry for any confusion. Hope this helps. -Wisekwai 05:00, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Rez logo.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Rez logo.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:23, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on OMX Nordic List, by Pizza1512 (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because OMX Nordic List is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting OMX Nordic List, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 11:10, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of EuroBonus

[edit]

A tag has been placed on EuroBonus, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD g11.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Russavia 19:47, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of EuroBonus

[edit]

EuroBonus, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that EuroBonus satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/EuroBonus and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of EuroBonus during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Russavia 09:28, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Plyriz! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 22 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 103 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
