Baillieu, the Attwoods, and the post office[edit]

Please stop adding that material to the Kate Bailieu article. First, it's a biography so a slab of information about the post office/newsagent is not appropriate, especially when it's not a major part of her life story, and it's certainly not significant enough to warrant inclusion of two paragraphs in her biography. Finally, as for the other "controversies" please see Other Stuff Exists. Just because there's "other stuff" in an article which really shouldn't be there, absolutely is not a reason for us to continue adding more. Wikipedia doesn't like "controversy" sections in biographies and that whole article needs to be cleaned up. This is a biography about Kate Bailieu, not a page to to document every local issue she has commented on. Sarah 10:04, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your deletion is bordering on vandalism. Baillieu is quoted in The Age on this controversy which is quite notable enough. The outcome of her campaign is a follow-up to the original story. If you object to the detail of what happened, please edit this instead of deleting the whole entry which is no more or less notable than the 'other stuff' I will make a suggestion edit.
