Hi, I just wanted to drop you a friendly note after seeing your edits to Phil Lamarr. Based on your username I thought it might be appropriate to make you aware of the Wikipedia policy on usernames (you can read it at WP:USERNAME) specifically that you should not edit under the name of a real person unless it is you or you make it clear that it is not you (Wikipedia:USERNAME#Real_names). Assuming you are actually the Phil Lamarr from the page you edited then welcome and thank you for taking an interest in the article about yourself. I do feel I should make you aware of Wikipedia's Conflict of Interest policy (WP:COI) and the relevant information at Wikipedia:Autobiography#If_Wikipedia_already_has_an_article_about_you. It is generally considered best not to make any controversial edits about yourself (not that there is a problem with the ones I've seen so far). If there is ever a problem with the article Phil Lamarr it is best to discuss it on the talk page (which I see you have already found). Please don't be put off by my throwing policies at you, I just want to make your transition into the wiki-world as smooth as possible, if you ever have any questions or need assistance feel free to let me know on my talk page, I'm just another user but I've been around long enough to at least point you in the right direction. Happy editing. Stardust821200:29, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
