We're always glad to have another editor on Halo-related topics, but I've reversed your edits thus far. An important tenet of Wikipedia is that everything is verifiable, meaning everything is cited to the best sources we can find that meet our reliability criteria; the list of installations, for example, is original research drawn from observations in-game and isn't permissible. Likewise, please be aware that changing information without changing the citation, as you did in Factions of Halo, is another no-no. :) If you have any questions, drop me a line on my talk page. I understand that these rules and guidelines can be restrictive when trying to comprehensively write about Halo, but remember that Wikipedia is a general reference work, and so we're trying to be as brief and accessible to non-Halo fans as possible. Halopedia is where the more detailed content belongs. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs(talk) 17:48, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Encyclopedia is in fact one resource I haven't gotten around to buying yet, so I'm sure the information will be useful :) Generally, most Halo articles follow a style of putting citations in between reference tags, like so: Statement ends.<ref>Citation</ref> Since the Encyclopedia is a book, you would use the template {{cite book}}, which is as simple as copying and filling out the important fields, like author, year, title, publisher and ISBN. As to your last question, I confess I'm unsure what you mean. If you've enabled it in your preferences, your Wikipedia account will be global for all Wikimedia projects. However it does not transfer to Wikia wikis like Halopedia. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs(talk) 17:11, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No, because that's original research. Look at it this way: someone might see glaciers on the ring, but others would say that it's a sea. There's no real way to see who's right unless there are secondary sources to confirm those observations. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs(talk) 21:05, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
