Your lead section is good. 2nd sentence, “To know how the history OF (add) the Creole language…” It would be good to add a link there to Louisiana Purchase. I think instead of using the word huge, you can use the word critical or something that shows less of an opinion. Other suggestions: aspects instead of expects, people’s lives… from tradition TO (add) music and religion. Capitalize Southern. The last sentence after music, Louisiana should be a new sentence. I clicked on your reference and was taken to a page with other references that I believe are good sources. Overall, everything is neutral and relevant.
