About mensa

[edit]

I'd considered them, but if I was going to join a group, it wouldn't be mensa. I'm sure they're nice, but there's nothing about them that really interests me. I'd rather join the American Go Association or something to that effect. --L-- 21:01, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's not too bad also. I never played Go. But so far I know about, I should. This way of conversation is much better than our start. In our time it's 23:40, 5 August 2007 (CEST). Strange moving of earth and sun. I believe, you are at school not an underachiever. Am I right? Why an IQ-Test at your age? --Pink Penta Phink Pink 21:42, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That test is actually fairly old. I don't really have a reason to get it updated though. As far as school goes, I finished that, I'm trying to decide what I want to do for University --L-- 21:50, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Special interests? For me it was quite easy: I wanted to know everything about theology. I see, the sister German city of Atlanta, Georgia is Nuernberg (Nürnberg). I live in Fürth near Nürnberg and know Nürnberg well. Whenever your visit it, tell it. :) --Pink Penta Phink Pink 21:57, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thought I'd post more here

[edit]

I think the policy of WP:BITE is one that should always be followed. New users are just that...new. I've been around here for some time, but I remember being new and making mistakes and being warned for it. Therefore, I always try and welcome and just talk to people instead of yelling. Ich schriebe über deutsche Geschichte. Jederzeit Periode. Ich wählte Weltkrieg zwei, da es ist, was ich in der Schule studiere. Tut mir leid wenn meine Rechtschreibung oder Grammatik schlecht sind. I must say however, it was very cool to study the war from a different angle :). Jmlk17 16:34, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Jmlk17, it maybe sounds for a German Wikipedian strange, being warned. In Germany people are less conditioned by warnings. Warnings are in our language only used in cases of emergency. So it sounds quite stange to read Wikipedian warnings for an German citizen. There are great differences in culture. But I always enjoyed American Culture. It is phantastic to communicate by en:WP.

Studying the II. WW from several national sides brings politic competence. We all should do it. At scools and universitys it is in fact serious done. I will read the work of H. Kissinger and Sir W. Churchill private interested. Did you read Bill Clintons autobiography? No? You should! Yours --Pink Penta Phink Pink 08:52, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
