I went to this page in preparation for editing a section of Video Professor, but this is a completely separate issue, so I thought I'd ask here rather than the VP talk page. After reading your new article, I think it's clear that this, and Negative option billing are different words for the same thing. You've got more stuff in your article than Negative option billing does, so it certainly isn't wasted effort, but I think the two articles should be merged, and one should redirect to the other. My questions:

  1. Am I wrong? Are these different?
  2. Do you have anything we can use to judge which one is the more popular phrase? I did a quick Google which seemed to prefer "negative option billing", but it was not thorough, and didn't look at permutations of the phrases. We could get an opinion at Wikipedia:WikiProject Business and Economics.
  3. Are you OK with this, or would you argue against? I've got a lot on my plate right now, so if you agree, then we could move forward with it now, but if you disagree, then I'd like to back off for a few weeks until I can devote reasonable time to discussing it in a merge proposal on one of the talk pages. Not looking for a fight or anything, so a simple "I disagree" and I'll bring it up later, and I'll discuss it with you again before officially proposing a merge.

Nice to see things progressing civilly at Talk:Video Professor. See you back there. --barneca (talk) 18:46, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
