ANI Experiences survey

[edit]

The Wikimedia Foundation Community health initiative (led by the Safety and Support and Anti-Harassment Tools team) is conducting a survey for en.wikipedia contributors on their experience and satisfaction level with the Administrator’s Noticeboard/Incidents. This survey will be integral to gathering information about how this noticeboard works - which problems it deals with well, and which problems it struggles with.

The survey should take 10-20 minutes to answer, and your individual responses will not be made public. The survey is delivered through Google Forms. The privacy policy for the survey describes how and when Wikimedia collects, uses, and shares the information we receive from survey participants and can be found here:

Invitation from Wikimedia Portugal

[edit]

(English below)

Agradecemos desde já!

Hi! Wikimedia Portugal is the Portuguese chapter of Wikimedia, founded in 2009 and recognized by the Wikimedia Foundation. Our mission is to contribute to the general dissemination of knowledge and culture through the incentive to the collection and creation of content without restrictions on use, modification and distribution, and promote their difusion; we promote and support the Wikimedia Foundation projects, among which Wikipedia, with emphasis on projects in Portuguese and Mirandese.

We would like however to count on the support of (and in turn ourselves support) all volunteers that are citizens, resident, or simply interested in Portugal. Despite being founded in 2009, the chapter has gone through a long period of inactivity that we are trying to overcome. We have sent you this message to invite you, if you are interested, to enroll as associate to the chapter, demonstrate your support to the existence of a chapter in Portugal, and get involved in the discussion of future activities by registering in the mailing list. Recentely, the Wikimedia Affiliations Committee suspended support to Wikimedia Portugal pending, among other things, the support from the community of portuguese editors. Nomination of Nenny for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Nenny is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nenny until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2019 World Taekwondo Grand Slam, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jade Jones (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Awesome! Here are the list of albums by Portuguese musicians that have been nominated for a Latin Grammy Award. Some of these already have an article, but I thought you should know anyway:

I also want to mention that Carlos do Carmo and José Cid were recipients of the Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014 and 2019 respectively and I included them in that list I made. Hope that helps! Obrigado amigo! Erick (talk) 23:20, 2 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there! I know it's been nearly a year, but I just thought you should know that Camané and Mário Laginha have been nominated for Best Portuguese-language roots albums for their album Aqui Está-se Sossegado while Maria Mendes has been nominated for Best Arrangement for her rendition of "Asas fechadas" at this year's upcoming Latin Grammy Awards. Notice

The article Lúcia Alves has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTBALL; unlike the other Benfica players with articles, I couldn't find any evidence of caps; nothing on Global Sports Archive, Playmaker Stats or Soccerway.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Problem with your custom signature

[edit]

Hello, I'm sending you this note because you need to update your signature. You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. Your signature does not link to your account. This is usually because your account has been renamed.

To fix your signature, you need to find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences and either blank it or change the link to your current account name. More information is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. mw:New requirements for user signatures/Help#Wrong user links. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures.
