[edit]Hello, I'm Acroterion. I noticed that you recently removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. And please explain your username. While you're at it, please explain this note [1] Acroterion (talk) 19:53, 12 January 2020 (UTC)
Is your username pronounced "fucker"?
[edit]While it may seem counter-intuitive, we really don't care what's true; we prefer what's verifiable. You can claim to be a local just as I can claim to be the reincarnation of Carl Sagan. Wikipedia doesn't verify our editors the way Twitter or Instagram might. Instead, we rely upon published sources, not the nonsense claims of children. We actually prevent a lot of trouble by sticking to sources. Further, making inappropriate complaints about what you claim to be true is just going to bring you a lot of unwelcome attention. You might find that Wikipedia isn't for you, at all, pho-quer. Chris Troutman (talk) 20:26, 12 January 2020 (UTC)
- You can pronounce it like you want, i don't really care. It's like the word "cracker" which is food and a racist slur. But hey your choice! --Phoquer (talk) 21:03, 12 January 2020 (UTC)
- No, you need to change your username and not try to be cute about it. Please do so, or be blocked for a username violation. Acroterion (talk) 21:09, 12 January 2020 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, i'm going to have to decline that. In french, minus the -r, it's "Phoque" and it's french for a seal.

[edit]Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.A username should not be promotional, appear to represent a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account. However, you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87". You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
- Adding
{{unblock-un|your new username here}}
below. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" on their talk page. - At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
- Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.

I woner if it possble to take a look at the evidence for the sake of transparency? It's time to review User:User2083146168's IP and i am not associated. Plus there is a personal vendetta and bias on IRC against me. I was just trying to edit and improve the small villages in my area. I personally think it's time to toroughly reviwe that checkuser's action. Poqué (talk) 12:48, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

WP:GAB will explain how to craft an acceptable unblock request. Yamla (talk) 12:54, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
The checkusers that handled this case and they accused me to be the following users: User:Aaa098 User:Tokiere User:Amencher User:Iikigaii User:User2083146168. I am NOT and never been these users. I will raise this issue to arbcom.
Decline reason:
Simple denial does not help, as the block is based on technical evidence. The Arbitration Committee can be reached at Special:EmailUser/Arbitration_Committee. You can do this while you are blocked. If you misuse the feature, however, your access to the form will be disabled. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 05:09, 16 April 2020 (UTC)

Question
[edit]This request for help from administrators has been answered. If you need more help or have additional questions, please reapply the {{admin help}} template, or contact the responding user(s) directly on their own user talk page. |
Need to know how long that a Arbitration Appeal process can take? Poqué (talk) 02:00, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
- It takes as long as it needs to take, there is no timetable. ArbCom members are volunteers too, though due to their responsibilities tend to be available a little more. Please be patient. 331dot (talk) 09:24, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
