Propose banning an IP
Hi Steve, I think it would be a good idea to permanently ban IP 50.74.1.34. This user has been active since August 2011 and every single edit that it has made has been reversed as vandalism. The typical edit involves adding a Justin Bieber statement into an existing article. The account was blocked by Rjd0060 for 3 months back in Jan 2013 and he stayed away for a year but now he's back. Granted, he doesn't edit much, but every single edit has been vandalism, so there are no valid users using this IP address. I'm not familiar with the process of proposing a ban, so I was hoping that, if you agree, you can propose it. Thanks, Rob. Robman94 (talk) 19:12, 16 May 2014 (UTC)

Requesting feedback on previously deleted page
Steve,
I see on your talk page you've included a comment stating that you're not as active on Wikipedia as you were previously, so I hesitate to take up your time. I would not do so if I did not need your help.
My name is Melissa (Mtrent), and I'm contacting you regarding a previously deleted page. The deleted page was
https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:ZeldaKarma/sandbox
It appears that a user named zeldakarma tried to undelete the page, which is an obvious G4 violation of wikipedia guidelines. This user no longer works for Coupon Cabin. I do not work for Coupon Cabin either. I am a nurse by training and now assist my husband with his work as an adviser to companies including Amazon.com, National Geographic, PBS, and Discovery Channel. My husband once spoke on a panel with Wikipedia's founder Jimmy Wales a long (long) time ago. He also assists Matt Cutts of Google on their paid link detection efforts, and was an adviser to the Federal Trade Commission on the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003.
What I'm trying to do is re-create the page for the company Coupon Cabin such that it will NOT violate any Wikipedia guidelines. This is a company with deep roots and ethical leadership. The founder, Scott Kluth runs the company, which in 2008 was ranked 163 of the 5,000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America. Here is a brief bio on Mr. Kluth.
http://www.cob.niu.edu/alumni/betagammasigmaaward.asp
Note that Mr. Kluth's Alma mater, Northern Illinois University presented him with a 2014 Beta Gamma Sigma Medallion for Entrepreneurship Award.
The deleted entry contains 47 strong references, and if you have a moment I would respectfully ask to look at the Community Involvement section, where you will see The Kluth Family Foundation, in cooperation with Coupon Cabin employees, supports a wide range of local charities and is a corporate sustaining donor to the Wikimedia Foundation. In 2010, Coupon Cabin reported more than $700,000 in donations to local charities and donated a total of $105,000 to the American Red Cross.
Coupon Cabin also partners with the Support Our Troops program to deliver active and expired coupons to domestic and overseas military families.
My goal is to create a page about Coupon Cabin, and given the history of the page with Wikipedia, I want to do so in manner that will meet your standards.
Can you provide me some feedback as to why the page was originally deleted? This will help me avoid the mistakes made by previous editors.
Anything you can share with me will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Mtrent (talk) 15:06, 20 May 2014 (UTC)
