Just a note about your edits to Albatross, as a rule you shouldn't alphabetise lists of species for birds as the order is based on their taxonomic order. It looks random but it isn't, it reflects what is known about the relatedness of the different species. That said, the correct order wasn't yet used in the article, so it isn't a problem, but don't be offended if it gets changed again. Ta! Sabine's Sunbird 19:49, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

Re:Abyss Pool

Yellowstone Human History
[edit]I did not remove the human history. Please check your facts before you go blindly accusing people of doing things they did not do. And please do as you preach, sign your messages. CamperStrike.
EDIT: I checked the history and prehaps someone managed to get a hold of my password. This is not the first time someone (not me) has delted that portion of the article. The edit took place at 6:40 am and I was sleeping, I did not wake up untill 8:30. I am changing my password. (It's not a very complecated one)
This user changed it and delted it: http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Yellowstone_National_Park&oldid=90667275
My IP address is 68.207.200.229 not the destructive 66.30.20.107 that deletes whole sections. I hope you take me for my word. http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Special:Contributions&target=68.207.200.229

CamperStrike
[edit]Hi. I asked CamperStrike to explain his edit on the Yellowstone article, and have recieved no reply from him. I did see his comments made to you where he claimed that someone else may have gotten ahold of his password. That's not impossible, but it is hardly likely. He has, as you also noticed, used several different IP's and on one, I told him to watch out for the three revert rule and he told me that there that his IP is dynamic...hence, he can't be blocked...yet he told you he has only one IP. Anyway, I'll probably resume my efforts on that article in a few weeks, but am pretty busy elsewhere for now. If he continues to present a problem, let me or User:AudeVivere know and we can see what more can be done. BTW...I worked for some tie in Grand Teton nP and Yellowstone...I saw your image of Soda Springs...I never heard of it...where is that?--MONGO 07:05, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
CamperStrike has been confirmed by checkuser [1] to be a blocked editor evading his blocks and has now been blocked indefinitely. Expect to see some other anon or trolling IP's to make an effort to continue to stir up trouble on Yellowstone and related articles.--MONGO 13:00, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
Orphaned fair use image (Image:Coach.gif)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Coach.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:32, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! Image source problem with Image:Fortbridgerquarters.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Fortbridgerquarters.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 00:45, 25 August 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 00:45, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
File source problem with File:Jacksonwyomingentrance.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Jacksonwyomingentrance.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. The file File:Abysspool.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused free-use image, except for link on uploader's user page. No clear use.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. fuzzy510 (talk) 05:16, 16 September 2020 (UTC)
